When the engine isnt running, the oil level sits below the level of the 'seal'. With the engine running, the oil in the engine and gearbox is splattered all over the place, including all over the 'seals'. That's why they only leak when the engine's running. HTH G

Interesting, It's been awhile since I had a stock Bugeye around (that is not in pieces), but I will check... I did all the beefing, and 195's hit a little, and since the only good tire I could get was 185 it was a no branner. John

Juliano's has some good anchor setups and belt kits. Take a look at http://julianos.com/anchor_plate.html for the anchor harware and dig your way out from there for the rest of their stuff. That's where I got the three point retractable belts and my seat anchor plates.
