Michael
I had mine done by an automotive upholstery shop and had a 3/8" thick jute
material glued to the back of all the pieces. This made the floor and
footwell sections quite stiff. The jute goes to about 3/4" of the edge of
the carpets. I allowed them to glue the tunnel and rear shelf carpet but
the floors and footwells just lay there. The footwell carpets just lift out
and are more like mats because of the jute backing. Once I remove the seats
the floor carpets just lift out.
Works well for me.
