didnt want to look for the original post, but as I was thinking about
your problem, a light bulb went on in my head.
you get the sender repaired, and then it stops again.
Is it possable that the wire from gauge to sender , is some how
shorting somewhere, thus sending the wrong current to the sender,
and "breaking" that fine wire in there?
Just a thought....
