Don't know if you guys got this, so I thought I would forward it to you and let you know that I e-mailed David Jerram and suggested that he un-subscribes next time he goes on holidays. By the way, if I want to un-subscribe for a while, without having to re-join, how do I go about it? OK, Bill French, we'll "back off"; time to eat anyway. The Bugeye awaits for transport to French Toast, OJ and of course, more coffee! Must lubricate door hinges and throttle linkage today. Enjoy day, Bill! Cap'n. Bob '61 :{) PilotRob@... 3461... MORE

Where is the " Web Master?" It would seem that the vast majority of the "list" e-mail could be considered non car issues. I would suggest that the "BS" be sent to each other via direct e-mail and not the club site. It takes away from the good. Just one man's opinion. Bill French '59 Bugeye frenchww@... 3459... MORE

Hi, Alan: I have a customer for you who would like a set of wind wings for his Frogeye but lost your e-mail address which I gave him. After sending you prior e-mail, found your e-mail address, once again, and sent it to him this evening but obviously, he is out or whatever and has not yet rec'd my message so, his name is dave silberkleit at: david@... Meanwhile, rec'd "console"; I thought this came with speaker holes ready to be punched out? Oh, well, no problem, as I can work with basic form, anyway! Best regards, Al! PilotRob@...... MORE

Hey, don't knock webtv, Dave. "Low, low prices" and no upkeep, free upgrades (such as they are) and everything I personally need! And, no virus' here, my friend (and no need for computer, either, as room mate is computer science type with "everything" imagineable enclosed and attached). More bucks to spend on Frogeye! Life is good! Cap'n. Bob '61 :{) PilotRob@... 3412... MORE

Having spent a fair bit of time your side of the pond Bob I must admit your ladies tend to "fill out" a bit as they age. Nah! It was the other 'way around, my friend! We fell! I have a buddy of mine who is married to an English girl; absolute doll, seriously. If she is any example, your girls keep their figures after a child or two. She is as pretty "today" as yesterday, really. With a sunny personality and sense of humor to match, no less. "Real" beauty! Hi Bob Sorry to leave you drinking bear so long, but haven't had a second since we got back from France. We had a great time covering about 2000 miles in all zigzagging all the way down through western France to San Sebastian and back. Driving through vineyards, fields of sunflowers and visiting Cognac, Bordeaux, Biarritz, Nantes, Fougeres, La Rochelle, Angers and San Sebastian to name just a few. Unfortunately didn't get to spend long in San Sebastian, so not sure about the tram, but will check it out next time. The Sprite ran really well and was much... MORE

That's a good start! Maybe if another gathering was arranged for the same day next year, the turnout would be greater. That's how Classics on the Common (Harpenden, Herts.) started about 8 years ago. First year there were about a dozen or so cars, now there are about 1000, and growing each year. Cars come from all over the country. Last year there was even a Midget from Australia!! Every car collector's dream, find that dream car in a barn in the middle of nowhere. Well, I found it, almost. A salvage (junk) yard in the middle of South Carolina, with over 800 British cars and buildings full of NOS parts. Biggest problem I see is that they are not sure what all they have! Sprites, Midgets, A's, B's, Triumph's and a bunch of Jaguars... I have a bugeye so I concentrated on the 5 bugeyes they have. Not to much of use to me but might be "just what someone's is looking for." Not a replacement for... MORE

Hi Stuart, That's Central London enough for me. I'm just trying to get a feel for how many Sprite/Midget owners there are within the hemmed in, constantly circleing ring of traffic better known as the M25. So that when I break down I know someone else is out there. And yes Mike I know you're close but it's only you ,me and one other on the M.A.D. for the whole of London! I'm hoping to get a few of us together again sometime soon. We managed to get seven Midget/Sprites together earlier this month in Richmond park, purely on... MORE

I am planning a trip to the UK from the !4th September to 24th September. My wife & I will be staying in Basingstoke for a few days then moving on to Epping. We will then travel north to County Durham and return to Epping. It is my intention to visit the Midget & Sprite day at Brooklands on the 23rd September. I would love to make contact with fellow enthusiasts if at all possible. Is there a "shouldn't be missed" museum, display, swap meet, etc worth adding to our travels? Love to hear from anybody.
