1. Jack the car up, so that the sticking hub is free from the ground. 2. Using a small club hammer, hit the hub several times at all points. 3. From time to time try to rock it, and eventually there will be a little movement. 4. Keep banging the hub with the club hammer until you can rotate it one full turn. 5. By now it should be possible to drive the car to free everything fully. I have a Honda N600 which has the same problem with the nearside rear if left standing for more than a... MORE

Steve FRONTLINE KIT When combined with new front springs very good. Had mine about two years now. Improved turn in and control. Improved rebound and stiffness means you can 'press on' even on French 'd' roads (the ultimate test!). I'm happy.......... But 'Peter May' also do a kit as well I think? Fantastic David, It's really great when people take the time to relate trips like this. Shame you didn't get to see more Spridgets but they tend to be weekend cars these days (ducking as the gale of protest from the daily drivers arrives ;-) ). Any reason why this group doesn't have a members "profile" section, like the Bugeye group. Is it because it's UK based and we're all a bit too shy? Gary L HAN5L "Gary Lazarus" 2258... MORE

Well well... Dammit you are right - I was just thinking back to nursery (UK equiv to Kindergarten), when mixing paints they always seemed to come out brown, whatever I started with. No wonder I failed my art qualification at (High)school. And you can get 1500s in a rather fetching purple/burgundy can't you? Cheers, Phil FilMidget@... 2247... MORE

Chris I will be in the UK in Sept and plan to attend this event. I need a little bit of info to help me get there. I will be staying near Epping (Where ever that is) How far am I from the venue? How long will it take by train? How long by car? I have no idea of distances in the UK as I have never been there. This is the only "must do " attraction I am going to although The Heritage Museum may feature if I can arrange it. Do you have any other suggestions... MORE

I'd just like to say, LETS HEAR IT FOR US YANKS!!!! We seem to own the most of these go carts around. Or are we the only ones proud enough to say that we do? This last weekend (23-24 June) I attended the 13 annual Chico California All British Car Meet, behind the Lions club. It seemed like a pretty good showing. I only wish my Midget could have came with me. As of right now I am having carb problems. The problem is the car is a 76 and has to have all the California smog equipment and... MORE
