Has there never been a time in the history of this country when it was democratic? Not really. Any attempts to make it so have historically been brutally crushed by those in power. Politics is a game of power and maintaining power through the use of laws to protect those in power. The same with any political "ism"
Sorry Bob, Don't count on Arnold . . . George Shultz is already beside him to see that he behaves in the interests of the true power holders.

You gotta understand...politics today as
practiced by professional politicians has
nothing to do with serving the majority of
"the people"....it's a job....and "they" do what they need to do to keep
their jobs,
just like the rest of us (only they get
free health care...I think for life?)
