Cap'n,
I would just add that having enough accelleration and top end in a
bugeye to outrun the majority of vehicles out there still doesn't
make freeway driving enjoyable for me. I've been doing 70 in rush
hour traffic a few times, and I don't care for it. I feel like I'm
trying to drive through a pinball machine. And here in upstate NY,
our rush hour is probably less than off hours traffic in CT and CA.
Couple of other observations -
Considering the age, relative rarity, and appeal of these cars,
you have to realize you're driving a rolling distraction. How many
times have you seen somebody go past you, and then turn around and
look back - for a couple hundred feet?
