As I an ex-southerner I like to put it this way... All y'all is a whole bunch of y'alls. You always cooked the bacon first so you could fry the eggs in it, if you didn't want your eggs sunny side up you simply splashed bacon grease over the top of the yoke. I left the south when I was 19, that must be why I am the only one of four male children and my daddy who has not had or died from stroke, had a heart attack, or quadruple hear bypass surgery, not sure how my three sisters escaped death by fat. But it is sooooo good, eggs fried in bacon grease over grits.
