You said it better than I ever could....
exactly so. Like you, I hate to see it
happening.
In what other country could I have gone
to work and put myself through school to
become a professional pilot? I love this
place but.....in terms of quality.....I'm afraid that during my lifetime
it's been
all slowly downhill I am very sorry to say.
I mean, I've had it pretty good but...so
many others (and this number is increasing) haven't. The middle is no
longer the vast majority....it is the poor
class which is growing...as the middle
class is taxed into oblivion and we become more a nation of fewer
"haves"
amid increasing numbers of "have nots".
The rest of these United States is NOT
Fairfield County for sure. Sure I worked
for it but in my timing, I was lucky through
no fault of my own.
One thing is for sure, to a greater extent
then ever, we are no longer a country
of the people, for the people and by the
people.
