I quite agree with you Gary. I was in the MGOC for years but left because I didn't see the point. It felt more like the T Series / B / F club.
The MASC is just the right mix of friendly club and professional organisation. Mike North makes an excellent job of putting the mag together and t' committee organise some excellent events which I have to confess I'm not very good at getting too. It also has an excellent network of local club nights.
