Sure. But had petroleum prices remained
at or about pre-nationalized levels, these
airplanes would have been flying long
haul routes all over the world today, IMHO.
NY Post had a great picture of one of the Concords being barged
northbound up
the Hudson going by the Statue of Liberty
on it's way up the the flight deck of the
carrier Intrepid. Sorta saddened me.
