List Brutality???!! Maybe she's got gorgeous, long blond hair! Don't do

Nigel! Speak softly...stroke....pet...and
if she doesn't come around, don't bother
with the hair....just kill her!!!
Of course, you are correct, Nigel, but
there is more than one way to skin a
cat (Phred is sleeping, so he's not listening...I can say this
safely!:).
Chris...the car LOOKS like a honey. Just
as important is your impression of the
seller. Girls are more intuitive than guys.
Methinks you can take a lot of the
guesswork out of this if you are close enough to get over to the guy's
house and
talk to him....'ya know...meet the wife and
kids. IF you are geographically close enough and can act quickly, you
might be
able to work a deal assuming your
impression of the seller's "integrity" meets
with your approval and the guy comes across as honest, IYHO.
Of course, arranging to get the car checked out is the way to go and if
the
guy's a "good guy", he will work with you
in this respect.
To bad Nigel isn't conveniently close by....
