Thanks David (and others who answered) - The reason I want to know
is because my bumpers are a bit dented and bent - next time a used
original comes up for auction on ebay for the right price I'll go
for it. Mine aren't that bad, so if they are original, I'd rather
keep them and maybe fix 'em than replace them with the after market
ones (which I hear aren't that great). The sellers don't always say
whether the one they are selling is an original and even if they do
make the claim, they don't seem sure or aren't always that
convincing. If I know the weight of an original I can ask the seller
how much theirs weighs and satisfy myself that I'd be getting an
original. Also, if a decent original is too costly, and I can
determine that mine are original, then I may want to look into
getting someone to fix mine. Make sense?
