Having recently replaced my MIDGET lettering I should know this but can't
remember!
I think it's 4.5 inches from the left hand edge of the sill (or right hand edge on
the other side) to the edge of the first letter and 1.5 inches up from the bottom
of the sill (bottom of the visible part of the sill, not from the indented part
right at the bottom) to the bottom of the letter.
I'm assuming you're going to put MIDGET letters on it if it's a 74 Midget, but
hey, it's your car, put the SPRITE badge on there if you want!
I'll check these measurements, and let you know if they're different.
