Ah! yes we have one of those on the Imp list, he doesn't own an old
landrover and tell stories about when he was in the war! (putting tounge
back in cheek)
The job is pretty good (I certainly dont mind going to work) and it
finances my motorsport which is the important part, as I rally 2 Hillman
Imps 1 as Co-driver in Historic Stage rallies and 1 as driver in Historic
Road rallies both for the MSA- HRCR & HERO series
(oh yes and I'm helping sort out a midget for someone as well)

Just ignore the Cap'n, he's old, a bit eccentric and his memory's going,

doesn't remember you've already said that Dunlop is owned by Goodyear ;)
Regarding jobs, all jobs are the same as you describe, they have good bits
and bad bits, the question is, do the good bits outweigh the bad bits!
