Just one thing before you slate anyone to much is it by 'Limited Company'
or 'Limited Company By Guarantee' the latter being an arangement set up to
protect clubs, charities and non profit making organisations who want to
register as a company to get the benifits of being a company such as
limited liability for employies/members and accounts audited and loged with
companies house.
I know all the car clubs I'm involved with use this, including 2 Motorsport
clubs and 2 classic car clubs none of which make more than =A31000 profit a
year from events they run and regalia/spares items they sell

Dunlop Motorsport
I never knew it was a Limited company, I always assumed it was
a non-profit organaisation set up for the benefit of its members.
Just goes to show how slippery that character Roche Bentley is,
nowhere does he make it clear that the MGOC is a profit making
Ltd company, he purposely keeps that quiet, hoodwinking
people into thinking its in their benefit to become a member, not
so that they can contribute more profits to his coffers.
