Well, here I am again....Thanks to all who responded to my annoying
questions....esp. Cap'n Bob and Frank C.
The three webbing pieces that attach the rear two support bars
together have completely deteriorated and need to be replaced.
Question: Is this webbing needed at all? The bars seem to assume
their respective positions without this webbing....

P.S. It was a glorious day in MA on Sunday, and logged 350 miles on
the Midget (no need for a top!)..all back roads (of
course!)....farthest I have ever been away from home base with it
(have owned it for 10 years!) great day!!
