Having spoken to the camp organisers, it looks like I will have to stay until everything is packed away, probably mid afternoon, so it looks like I won't be able to make the gathering after all.
One of the drawbacks of being a youth leader means that if even one of my group goes on camp, then I, as their leader, have to go too. I enjoy doing it, but it's a shame to miss an MG/Sprite gathering which is quite close to home. Next time, give me plenty of warning!! Camp is always May bank holiday weekend.
Rest assured I will be with you all in spirit. Take lots of photos and send them to me!!
