The owners son stopped by today. He runs Capps Rental Cars and Vans. He bro
ught his demo, the 2005 Pontiac GTO. As the owner of a 68 myself, I asked h
im if perhaps before he left, he would bless me with a ride. He tossed me t
he keys and told me to give myself a ride!!
Half an hour later, let me tell you. It may not look spectacular, but it WI
LL get up and MOVE. It has 200 on the clock, and I would not be surprised i
f it will do it, though I would not push it there long. It is only the all
aluminum Corvette 327 with a 6 speed. I am afraid of what the heat would do
to it.
COLIN!! He is thinking of badging it out like the Monaro, do you know where
in Oz one could get the proper badgeing, and for how much??
