I had got the two bolts on the outside and the third one at the
front of the footwell was so corroded that it came apart itself.
The state of that bolt hole has led me to worry a little about
putting on the inner sill. I am thinking of just replacing the
footwell plate fully so that no more rusty bits are left there.
I am going to have to replace the door pillar anyway so may as well
do it all!!
