That was attributed to General Electric if I remember correctly. The scientists studied the topic and found the result. GE management instituted a corporate wide policy that cell phone use while driving on company business was prohibited. The daily mileage was given, some thing on the order of 1 million miles worldwide. So to them it made sense. Why our government can't see the same thing is beyond me!
