nearly right - if the '6' had followed an H at the beginning, it would have
been the 6th series Austin-Healey, but since it follows a G, it's the 6th
series of MG Midget, i.e. the 1500 rubber bumper model. Also, although the
G does mean MG, it doesn't specifically mean assembled at Abingdon - could
have been Cowley. What you have as a 6 at the end is really a G, which
*does* indicate Abingdon - confusing, eh?!
