And a pleasant good morning to you,
Don May....
Surprise! It's cloudy and raining (slightly)
as summer engulfs us in temperatures as
high as.......58F. Of course, I'll be applying plenty of sunscreen
before taking
the BE out later this morning for Sunday
brunch with the guys at the infamous
Long Ridge Tavern (and stormdoor company), in the event the weather
remains stable or improves just a bit.
I do not remember seeing my reflection in
the hubcap of the rather large truck that
knocked my PO'd '67 off the Thruway a
couple of years ago....of course, the sun
had yet to come up that fateful morn!
As to the little low volt lamp and lens for
your small but mighty LBC....if not the
local junkyards (like they'll be plenty of
Spridgets around, right?), may I recommend a phone call to John up at
Sports & Classics....203-655-8731, in the
event another lister does not have an old
parts Spridget hanging about that might
have these parts available to you at little
cost.
Wait a minute....what is that funny light
outsidemy window...the sun? Can this
be?
