I don't know what the law is here but I would agree it better not to wear a
full headset (both ears) for just the reasons stated.
At one time, the car I had was so noisy I used to wear my bright orange
chain-saw ear muff defenders when driving to work, and never got pulled
over. But it was back in the days when I had to do real work for a living,
starting out with my saws for the forests at 5.00am when there was no-one
much else about. Now I start at 8.00, press computer keys, negotiate, talk,
make a few decisions and earn three times as much!
