After using some rubbing compound on the new 73 Midget I think I was
mistaken on the original color . . . the lighter oxidized paint led me to
believe it may be Aconite now that I have rubbed out a test area I think
it's actually Black Tulip. Dark purple. A good photo of a Black Tulip car is
