I'll post here what I posted on www.mgcars.org, and no, you can't
get rid of the Korean Redneck that easily.
You guys are just too kind, bringing tears to my eyes, really. Since
you're sincere, I'll share with you one other reason why I am
selling. My wife and I both have really good jobs and we have
everything we need and more. But I've always been the spender in the
family and maybe it's called growing up, I decided to clean up
the "clutter" in my life. I have a lot of issues to clean up, such
as family, personal battles, goals, wants, needs, what I want from
life, etc. I once heard that to clean up your clutter is to take a
look at your house, how clutter it might be. I did just that and I
realized my focus was placed on all the wrong things for ME,
certainly everyone has different views in life. We've been married 3
years, have a nice home, and I think next move should be having some
juniors running around. In order to do that, I need to refocus my
emotional target and set goals, clear up the "clutter" (material and
emotional clutter). And this Sprite happened to be one of many
things that I felt should go. I certainly enjoyed working on it and
further more, the company of all you great people around the world.
I still get emails from people on the other side of the globe
sharing their appreciation for my project and I guess I'll never
know how many people I have motivated with this Sprite. What I DO
know is that you all have motivated me by emailing me and answering
my questions when I needed help. $1000 is nothing for the parts and
labor when into this thing, not to mention the car itself was more
than that when I bought it. But I wanted to make it affordable for
the future owner who will appreciate it. Again, thanks all for your
help.
