Kelly, don't take Ed too seriously, he is just a 'miserable sarcastic old
git' but he does know a bit about cars. Although he is a bit difficult to
follow at times, just take the good bits and forget the rest, and don't
forget, it might just be a safety valve for him - he might just have had a
bad day. Life is too short to get wound up over trivialities. It just
doesn't lead anywhere.
ps Hope your car is nearing completion and being back on the road.
