Ya' know....
Cats are not dogs, guys. There are no
leash laws or "scooper" laws for cats,
either.
There ARE laws against taking or
harming pets and dumb domesticated
animals however, along with general laws
on animal cruelty.
It was not that long ago that I filed charges against a neighbor of
mine for
mistreating another neighbor's pet...guy
didn't think anyone was lookin' I guess...
wrongomundo and it cost him a couple
of hundred bucks...too baaaaad.
My tonneau cover fits tightly....no cat can get in there. The best they
can do is sleep on it (which does no harm). How does a
cat get in there with respect to your car,
David? Snaps missing or something like
that?
Incidentally, a Moss $39.95 simple Tyvek
cover not only preseves the finish (bird
droppings, tree sap and stuff) but would
solve the other problem as well.
Can't help you on the bird/cat thing though
I have "saved" more than one bird from a
cat during my lifetime! :)
