Oh yes! They were good at that. My Mk2 Midget, one of the last few built,
had several components from the later Mk3 cars, including the seats, which I
have been told on several occasions are the wrong ones for the car, quite
forcibly I might add. Having owned the car from new, however, I know the
truth of the matter!
Probably to the plaudits of some and the sheer disbelief of others on the
list, I have made a point of keeping the car as original as possible! :-)
