Watch it, Don May...:):)
Ahnold is one of my favorite people.... assuming he walks the walk as
well as
he talks the talk....he's gotta get elected
first...then we'll see! If he gets in and
doesn't walk the walk....then he bites the
bites the big one.
You gotta understand...politics today as
practiced by professional politicians has
nothing to do with serving the majority of
"the people"....it's a job....and "they" do what they need to do to keep
their jobs,
just like the rest of us (only they get
free health care...I think for life?)
Why else would it be impossible to pass
a meaningful campaign finance reform
bill which would return elections to the
people via Federal taxpayer money ONLY?
"They" also voted themselves a COLA
many years ago (at 12:00AM at night)
by attaching a rider to a bill having nothing to do with same and.......
just voted themselves a nice across
the board raise as well the other week...
at our expense during a weak economy,
after some of our professional CEO's
cashed in on a "fixed" stock market raping
Joe Public to the extent of many billions
of dollars. Not to mention the REAL
unemployment rate!
They've done a lot better for themselves
than the taxpayers (some of whom are retired - Social IN-Security) who
put them
"there", for sure.
These then, are our "professional leaders". Maybe it's time for
intelligent
amatures to take over, working with qualified teamates who know the
various facets of administering government and
can get the job done in accordance with
their "leader's" priniciples and ideas based
upon what our founding father's had in
mind in terms of what they wrote and
the spirit in which they wrote it?
