I'm pushing it back and forth and my neighbors must think I 've gone mad.
Was at the hardware store and noticed Bondo UV sun activated body filler for
the first time and being a curious animal had to try it. "Apply in shade
only, must be in sun to activate" a good test for the level of the sun's UV
rays it is. It will stay soft in the shade for hours one beam of sun light
hit it and it's on its way to stone in a few seconds . . . amazing stuff.
I have the bugeye bonnet hinged onto the 69 rolling chassis just for fit
and support while I work on it. As some of you know I work outdoors under a
large oak tree, pelted by acorns by the squirrels which are in a feeding
frenzy at the moment, not quiet like falling coconuts, ever have one of
those fall next to you with a mighty thud and you realize how fragile life
is. Haven't been able to come up with any figures how many South Pacific
Islanders have been kill by them. I digress . . . My new daily routine is
to apply some UV Bondo, push the 69 out from under the tree into the sun for
a few minutes for activation then roll it back underneath the tree to sand
before the next coat. It's not aerobic exercise but it beats going to the
gym. Hate it when the doctor smirks and tells me such activities are not
aerobic exercise. Try to get the spouse to rake the leaves . . . "Sorry on
my way to the Gym" is the usual response. Curse those Cross Trainers, they
have destroyed old fashion work. That's why I went out and bought a 210 mile
per hour TORO leaf blower.
