Aussie Rules playes are nuts. You get 50,000 spectators to a losing game in the pissing down rain. And Victorians, bless their tiny souls, are nutsier than most.
Not that there is any parochialism between New South Wales and Victoria, mind you. We don't need to be parochial, we know our State is better. Even better than Texas.
In fact, just last week, the two teams at the bottom of the table (after the finals) challenged each other to a game in the Northern Territory - 6,000 kms from anywhere and 100+ degree heat. The stadium was packed with interstate supporters.
Told you - NUTS.
