Hello all,
Am I the only person looking at the messages regarding the Concord issue
that sees "nationalistic" differences?
It seems that - excepting the expert views of some members of the flying
fraternity - most of the British views are concerned merely with the
extraordinary expenses involved with the Concord and it's attendant
problems, whilst the view from the USA seems broader and perhaps further
sighted.
I am fortunate indeed to live in the land of Oz, a place that could never be
accused of being particularly pro-Brit, yet the abiding image of British
Airways is the one of the Concord and its one and only flight to Australia.
And that was many years ago - still used in most ads here for the airline.
Is it telling, these differing views? One sees the glass as half full, the
other sees a half empty vessel.
