Firstly apologies to anyone who may feel I'm sticking my nose in
where it's not supposed to be. This only my personal opinion and it's
not my intention to post anything contentious.
As a relatively new (3 years) member of the Midget & Sprite Club. I
was thinking that there must be many members of this list who aren't
members of the Midget and Sprite Club.
While it's not a pre-requisit (sorry if the spelling is wrong, I'm
not used to big words) to be a member of both. I personally feel it's
nice to belong to the only club (to my knowlege) that caters solely
for Spridgets and their owners.
It can only be in all our interests for that club to go from strenght
to strenght.
How nice it would be for there to be more of an international feeling
to a club which (again to my knowlege) has a mainly UK membership.
Especially as the vast majority of the cars were exported.
I have ejoyed meeting with other members of the club over those 3
years, including Terry Horler, yesterday at the AGM in Swindon,
England. But how much nicer would it be to meet other members in,
lets say Florida or California.
It would be nice to have some more input in "Mascot" the monthly
magazine (worth the cost of the membership on it's own) from abroad.
There is, as you probably know, a link to the club from the home page
of this board.
Again sorry if I'm venturing into an area that I'm not supposed to
but I'm just feeling a bit evangelical after attending the AGM
yeaterday.
