No, LBC was right - Little British Concorde : )
Actually I think it was a joint effort between France and England, so it could
well be termed Le (or La) British Concorde !
Anyway as I said, I for one am delighted it's finally going to be put to rest. As I
mentioned I live right under its flight path (and let me tell you, although you
probably already know) that plane is seriously noisy. So much so that when it
went over, if you were on the phone you had to stop talking, or if you were
watching the TV you wouldn't hear anything.
I don't see why I, and many others like me should have to suffer that kind of
noise pollution just so a few people with more money than sense can get to A
to B a bit quicker than conventional Airlines.
I accept that I am very much in the minority in this view, but then those that
tend to disagree, are those that don't have to suffer the noise, a typical selfish
attitude prevalent in this country.
