Believe it or not, Alan...
We have legislators (I think a couple in
CA tried this?) who, if they could, would
pass laws forcing a retrofit of emissions
equipment on pre-emission engines (< '68).
And we have some who would be only
too happy (in the interests of their
corporate financial backers) to pass
laws outlawing ANY car over 10 years
old for use on public highways!! :):)
