I can't offer any good suggestions but I feel strongly that whatever the
problem is it happened after it left Comptune. I had known Dave Tabor since
1963 and he would not send out anything in less than perfect condition.
Long before he thought of starting Comptune he helped me work on my Sprite
at his house. Through the years we drank a lot of coffee together and he
was a wealth of information and help for me. Comptune does still exist but
Dave's widow sold it and the new location is in Georgia, I believe.
With the many suggestions you are getting you should find the cause very
quickly.
