No problem!
I was going to get this type of hardboard, I just haven't spent any time
investigating potential suppliers.
I will follow the same course you have, and have stripped half of the panels
already in readiness for using the old hardboard as templates for cutting the
new ones.
The only problem I can see is the 'curved' section on the rear panel. I would
imagine most people just re-use their old one, but mines been hacked about
by a PO installing speakers into it. If I can re-use it then obviously I will, but I
don't think I can, so I'll have to make up a new one, shouldn't be too difficult.
For my sins, I did a 2 year cabinet making course at the London College of
Furniture right after I left college, but decided when I'd finished it, it wasn't
for me so went on to do a degree in Graphic Design instead lol
But it does mean I know my way round wood fairly well, a lot better than I
know my way round steel thats for sure!
