I was told that a camping / tent / awning shop could do the work
quite easily and for not a great expense.Also a marine chandlers
would know somewhere that could do it, however anything boaty is
pricy in the UK. I still believe it could be done this way,although
it didn't happen for me.
My very recent experience is with replacing a split pvc rear screen
in an MGF softop by an MG specialist. I had been quoted =A3120 to
replace the pvc only. That involved removing the hood and posting it
away , would take about a week. I was also told that =A350 would be ok
by the local camp shop, but they never contacted be, again the softop
would have to be sent away.
