Thanks for the help. It's been so long since I took my car apart
(ten LONG years) that I just didn't remember. Thought it was some
type of duct tape....
I am installing a Datsun 5 speed with the kit from Paul Asgeirrson.
Really a fabulous conversion. Everything well engineered and it all
fits! Guess I'm just suprised when anything fits on these cars, or
for that matter when I purchase something that's not junk. The
tranny looks perfect for the car and the Datsun clutch set-up is
really beautiful. What an improvement. I've got it all bolted
together but have not yet driven it. Will advise when I do. All
reversible, and quality stuff.
