The Rover K series is a popular replacement and gives enormous
power. Can be used with a Ford Sierra transmission or a Rocket box
or the Caterham 6 speed. Frontline developments do all the bits you
need. The K series is used in Land Rover Freelander, MG F, Caterham
7 as well as the small Rovers so bits are plentiful and it makes for
a really quick midget.
