"Yes" and "yes", Chris.
See if the supplier has the later
improved "PerTronix II"
rather than the earlier "PerTronix"
(aka "PerTronix I", so to speak) for
your model # distributor, Chris, should
you decide to go this route.
The "II" incorporates a sytem which
electronically adjusts dwell and provides
for a stronger spark at the higher rpms, as
compared to that provided by the earlier
PerTronix units.
Either will work just fine though.
