Follow the attached link for a rather good article aqs to why oil
pressure drops when temperature increases.

Basically as the temp increases the oil gets thinner, the pressure
drops BUT the quantity of oil flowing through the system INCREASES.
If my memory serves me right from college many moons ago - Boyles law
i.e. P.V.T Equation must balance
