Strange???
Not at all...machines and their various parts eventually wear out all
the time, George. Part of "life"!! :):)
OK...seriously....
probably a diode gone "bad"...as in
worn out and maybe time for replacement.
Others will offer other fixes which
may solve the problem short of "exchange" for new or rebuilt unit
though.
