Hi Rob & Doug,
Doing all you suggest, Rob is well and good, but those are items unrelated to any blow-by problems. That was seemingly the original problem. All your suggestions do is ensure that the lubrication system is top notch. Seems like a lot of work to do and completely skirt the initial issue.
My rear seal kit will work with the crankshaft just being in good condition. BUT, If bearing clearance or blowby is excessive, it's not very effective. One or the other diminishes it to the point of why bother doing it.
