The strength of the bodyshell is in the sills, bulkheads,
transnission tunnel, and to a lesser extent in the floors. Removing
the doors and front fenders has no effect, and the rear fenders very
little. However if by "taking the car apart, you mean replacing the
structural parts, you will have to brace it before you start
cutting. i think most people temporarily weld braces across the
door openings, and maybe side to side across the car. Depends what
you're going to cut out.
