See what works when the fuse is new and then what doesn't work after the
fuse blows. Check those items. 35 amps is a lot. Some things draw a lot,
like the head lights, the horn and others draw little like running lights,
radio, wiper motor, etc. you could get a used amp meter at a surplus store
(might cost 5 to 10 dollars) that reads about 10 amps full scale and run
each item though it and measure how much it draws. Add them up and see how
close to 35 you are. Safety margin should be 20 to 25 amps. If you find a
large one, perhaps run a separate wire and it's own 35 amp fuse for that
item.
Other than that, look for an intermittent short or chaffed insulation on
some wires. Wiggle everything.
