Jim,
Put in top gear, jack up one rear wheel and rotate back and forth by hand,
how much free travel until resistance or a clunk? Look under and see if
wheel moves very far before prop shaft starts to turn. Look at u joints to
see if sloppy and hope that is where the extra play (read klunk) is coming
from.
