I found this in a short search:
Nitrogen is also used in filling automotive tires due to its
relatively flat line of thermal expansion.
I also read that truckers (lorries) and the military use N2 for
certain safety concerns and longevity. I wouldn't even consider it
myself...but that's just me...H2, though, has a certain appeal...
that would give a new meaning to the term "blow out"!
