Hi there suds lovers.........
This is the 2nd of 3 notices of an informal get together of any
interested people with in driving distance of San Diego.
The first time will be this coming Friday, August 1st at 6:00 pm (or
whenever) at the British pub the "Speakers Corner". It is located at
2664 Fifth ave. near Balboa park in mid San Diego. After visiting
several pubs, "hic",I chose that one because of the ease of parking on
the street, and it probably wont be as crowded as the other more popular
places. The owner will extend us some happy hour prices and perhaps
donate some snacks, and if we stake out our seats early enough, we can
see our cars parked on the street outside.
I hope everyone interested will come and have a chance to meet the nice
people we have been chatting with on-line and any one else that is
interested. Please bring your LBC if you can. You can R.S.V.P. to me
off line or on line if you like. If you contacted me at the first
notice, you don't have to do it again unless you want to.
We sort of ended up with Fri. nite as one that works for the first
time. I have gotten a lot of feedback that perhaps Sat or Sun daytime
would be better. After this one, we will take a vote and do what works
best for everyone.
I am looking forward to seeing and meeting many of you there.
